Beautiful she may be, the Hut 2 Hut / The Archie courses are, quite simply, a bit brute-y.
100km, 5800 metres of gain and high escarpment, technical ridge running make this without doubt Australia’s toughest 100km event. Ten peaks will be bagged with plenty of diving down to the valley floor before climbing back up to reach the roof of Victoria while immersing yourself in legendary High Country Hut folklore. Complete as a solo runner or in pairs over 1, 2, or three days. This is Oxfam gone totally wild!
Too much? Then try The Archie out for size: 55km, 2300m ascent - it looks easier on paper… maybe.
